We had the incredible joy to hold a keynote at next 2019. Together with our partners from SinnerSchrader, we discussed the future of creative industries and communication and the impact of AI towards identity.
We look forward to discuss the cultural and philosophical impacts of our creative research in the fields of machine learning at the United Nations in Geneva. Together with scientists, designers, artists and politicians we will investigate the future of creative expression, ethics and work. Furthermore we will exhibit our project Narciss at the AI for Good Exhibition curated by State Studio, to share and mediate its cultural implications.
Narciss is exhibited till end of may 2019 at State Studio. STATE Studio is a public gallery, showroom and event space in central Berlin. It’s a place for creative synergies between science, art, and innovation to discover and explore the breakthrough developments that shape our future.

We had a beautiful time at HACKING ARTS 2016, sharing our knowledge about dance and new media at the MIT Boston.
Our Project Pathfinder got selected to the top 100 ideas of the year.
Invited and supported by the incredible Goethe Institute POW2045 was touring from Guatemala, Nicargua to Mexico.
We had the opportunity to share our perspective towards AI and Creativity at the amazing AI Lab of Siemens. We enjoyed a vivid exchange and look forward to future collaborations.
Our founder Christian Mio Loclair gave an inspiring keynote, questioning the role of technology as a poetic mirror to human nature. We also introduced our latest research on human and machine cooperation with “Die Gestaltungsmaschine”, an experimental prototype imagining the future of creative work in the age of AI.
We will be at the amazing Fiber Festival in Amsterdam for a panel and workshops.
We will give a talk about our approach to design poetic moments and a hands-on workshop for interactive experiences. KIKK is an international festival of digital and creative cultures that explores the economical and artistic implications of new technologies.
We developed a color correction method for dx11 in VVVV using a 5 bit encoding technique. Find details and source here.

We will join the “Choreographic Coding” Panel at Resonate. Resonate is a festival for digital arts which “brings artists, designers and educators to participate in a forward-looking debate on the position of technology in art and culture.”
We shared our ideas about AI and Art at the Frauenkirche in Dresden curated by the ADA fellowship. ADA is a platform for digital life and the economy of the future. How will we live in 2030? What role does Germany play in the age of artificial intelligence? And how do we need to regulate algorithms? pic by stephan floss.
We hosted a 2-day workshop about creative AI in Berlin as part of the innovation camp organised by the German Federal Center for Cultural and Creative Economy (Kompetenzzentrum Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft des Bundes) in cooperation with STATE Studio. A lot of interesting ideas were shared among the participants!
